The H1B weighted selection rule is currently under OMB review and has NOT been finalized. No official parameters have been announced by USCIS.
Earliest possible implementation: FY 2027 H1B cap season (registration in March 2026). Current beneficiary-centric lottery remains in effect through at least FY 2026.
Level IV (67th percentile): Highest priority (~85% estimated rate)
Level III (50th percentile): High priority (~65% estimated rate)
Level II (34th percentile): Medium priority (~35% estimated rate)
Level I (17th percentile): Lowest priority (~5% estimated rate)
